Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the UK's largest and most popular universities. The Department of Recruitment and Admissions at Manchester Metropolitan is responsible for recruiting and admitting new students to the University.

We are looking to appoint an Admissions Manager who will work as part of the University's centralised Admissions service, with specific responsibility for Postgraduate Taught admissions.

The Admissions Manager will develop, implement and oversee admissions protocols and procedures for both UK and overseas admissions, operating within recruitment and admissions policy and strategy frameworks, and will support and provide expert guidance to Faculty and Professional Services colleagues, prospective students and external partners. The role includes responsibility for ensuring admissions decisions and processes are compliant with UKVI and government, professional or statutory body regulations.

The post holder will manage a team of Admissions Officers and Recruitment and Admissions Assistants, with direct line management responsibility for the Officers. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Admissions, the Admissions Manager will be expected to monitor and drive both team and individual performance in support of the University's targets and objectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.

The post holder will be asked to work flexibly across the wider team as required and the focus of the role may be subject to change in line with evolving service needs.
