Admissions Enquiry Assistant (100170-1221)

Permanent position, 36.5 hours per week.

We are seeking to appoint to an Admissions Enquiry Assistant within the Undergraduate Admissions Service at the University of Warwick.

You will join a busy team responsible for the handling of applications to a range of courses at the University.

You will be the first point of contact for a high volume of prospective applicants to the University, providing advice and guidance to applicants and their supporters on the application process, admissions criteria and admissions policy.

You will play an active role in identifying areas of improvement to systems and service and work closely with the Admissions Coordinator and academic departments to monitor and enhance the customer service offered to all enquirers.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent and have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience of providing excellent customer service to a diverse range of enquirers, and an aptitude for information technology.

You will need to quickly learn and apply new procedures, therefore attention to detail is crucial. Previous work or study in a university environment would be an advantage, though full training will be provided to suitable applicants who do not have a background in Admissions.
