This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in Academic Services, based primarily within our Admissions Team. You will be responsible for leading the temporary Clearing Team to manage the admissions functions around offer making during the period of Clearing (July-September).  You will train and monitor team performance to ensure delivery of service excellence and achievement of target conversion rates. You will also take a key role in supporting application and offer making and selection and conversion activities during the rest of the calendar year, providing line management support to the UK Admissions team.

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage a team. You will need to be highly organised and adaptable, able to work under pressure, displaying a strong commitment to customer service and with excellent IT skills for organising the allocation of staff rotas and for extracting information from databases to produce and analyse reports.

There are annual leave restrictions in December, January and August which are peak periods for the Admissions Team.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System .  Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
