These roles will be based in Education and Academic Services, working in our Faculties supporting our students, academic and senior colleagues. We have the following roles available in Exeter and have part-time and full-time opportunities. All roles are offered on a permanent basis. These roles offer the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

  • Executive Assistant to the Head of Engineering, 1 FTE, Exeter, Streatham
  • Executive Assistant/s in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, part time hours open to discussion with the possibility of full time Exeter, St Lukes
  • Executive Assistant in Education and Academic Services, 1FTE, Exeter, Streatham
  • Administrator in Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, 1FTE, Streatham

T he roles

Our Faculty Operations roles work as teams to give a brilliant administrative service to academic and senior colleagues. Some roles focus on personal assistant-type support to senior leaders and some roles co-ordinate administration in departments. In these roles you will assist academics and leaders with their priorities including student experience and education, research and partnership working. All roles provide high-quality administrative support and have the opportunity to directly impact on the smooth running of the university and for you to showcase your fantastic organisational and business support skills.   

About You

For all roles, you will:

  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have fantastic IT skills
  • Be a great communicator with a strong customer service focus
  • Be someone who can work with databases and information
  • Be able to work proactively in a team
  • Be able to work to multiple priorities
  • Have high service standards
  • Have great attention to detail
