Job Overview:
This is an exciting time to join a new Higher Education Quality Department at University College Birmingham. As part of our on-going developments in Higher Education, we are looking to grow our quality administrative support with professional administrative experience, excellent customer service skills and a high level of organisational ability to provide an efficient and quality service to students, staff and stakeholders.
The post-holder will work as part of a team undertaking a diverse role which will include:
- Acting as Officer to selected academic committees including the finalisation of agendas, dissemination of papers, provision of advice and guidance as well as minute taking and notes.
- To provide assistance to the Assessment & External Examinations Officer in relation to processing documentation for External Examiners.
- To ensure effective coordination and support for Periodic Review, Validation and Approvals, Module Review and similar.
- To assist with the updating and implementation of Quality procedures and systems including the checking of consistency of these and other processes with regulatory requirements.
