Research
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis to 28 April 2023.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Business Operations Team, working to support the three Directorates of Research (RS), Doctoral College (DC) and Innovation Impact & Business (IIB). RS, DC and IIB work closely together as part of a single division.
As an integral part of the team, you will provide overarching and varied administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Directorates and deliver a customer-focused, efficient administrative and financial support service to colleagues in RS, DC and IIB.
About you
In your role you will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused administrative support service to both internal and external stakeholders. The role is the first point of contact for queries, where you will provide advice and guidance as a central information point ensuring the consistent and correct application of processes and procedures. You will work within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver a seamless service.
You will have excellent organisational and planning skills with an acute attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively when handling complex queries.
The Business Operations Team is currently operating a hybrid approach to work with a combination of office and home-based working; the majority of which is currently based at home but with the expectation that you can regularly work in the office as required.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
Interviews will take place on Friday 21st October.
