Role Description

You will be based on the Cranfield Campus and you will be responsible for providing first class secretarial support to staff within the Transport Systems theme, occasionally being called upon to support wider initiatives and resourcing requirements across the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing and University.

The School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM) is a leading provider of postgraduate-level engineering education, research and technology support to individuals and organisations. We are now looking to appoint to the role of Administrator within our Transport Systems theme.

About You

You will be responsible for managing complex and busy diaries, arranging and scheduling meetings and appointments, minute taking, finance procedures, dealing with University staff, students and external customers of varying seniority as well as other ad-hoc duties.

It is therefore essential that you are organised, proactive, flexible, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service whilst managing conflicting demands. You will have highly developed interpersonal skills and will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
