This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.

Summary of the role

We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated administrator to support the delivery of the UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Hub (CE-Hub) which is part of the £30M UKRI National Circular Economy Research (NICER) Programme including five UK Circular Economy Centres of Excellence . The aim of the programme is to accelerate interdisciplinary research, innovation and impact to scale up a UK Circular Economy.

You will play a key role in the success of the CE-Hub which is held at the Exeter Centre for the Circular Economy (ECCE) in the University of Exeter’s Business School. You will work closely with the Hub Project Manager and Project Coordinator to support the Principal Investigators Professors Peter Hopkinson and Fiona Charnley and the wider CE-Hub Team.

You will be a key member of the project team, involved in the planning and monitoring of project meetings and activities, liaising with project members and national and international partners, university colleagues, the media and the public. You will contribute to the delivery of activities, including diary management, managing communication requirements between multiple stakeholders across academic, policy and industry, taking meeting minutes and updating and maintaining a network database.
