Essex Food - Our mission
Our aim is to deliver a food service standard which reflects and supports the University's core values of excellence, quality, creativity, and diversity across the full range of catering facilities our in-house team provides.
Duties of the Role
Provide administrative support to the Essex Food Senior Management Team to include word processing, organisation of meetings, minute taking, production and upkeep of forms and databases, filing, diary management and sorting mail.
You will be the first point of contact for all enquires for both customers and staff alike.
Skills and qualifications required
We are looking for someone who has significant and recent administrative experience in a challenging and varied role, including experience of working in a hospitality and fast paced environment. You will have experience within a customer service role where you have resolved queries and responded to enquiries.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which enable you to establish productive working relationships with a wide range of people and work effectively as part of a team. In addition to this, you will have the ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of detailed database systems and apply them accurately.
