This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Services team at the University of Plymouth Peninsula Medical School.

The Clinical Liaison Services team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements.  The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health care community. 

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Administrator (Community Placements).  You will co-ordinate medical student General Practice (GP) and community placements in Years 1-5 for the BMBS (Medicine Programme) including recruitment and allocation of placements.  You will be expected to maintain the Community Placement Database and training records.  In addition, you will organise and attend quality assurance visits in General Practice.  You will also be expected to monitor the return of annual agreements from providers, prepare placements schedules and ensure payments to placement providers are made in a timely manner.

You will need experience of office administration and a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.  Please detail your Excel skills in your application.  You will also need to have effective communication skills, provide good and professional customer service and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.

You will be expected to work in the John Bull Building for most of the time, however we do offer informal hybrid working arrangements with up to 1-2 days WFH each week.  However, this may flex depending on business need.
