Permanent position, 36.5 hours per week.
First opened in 1974 Warwick Arts Centre is a pioneering Arts Centre on University of Warwick campus and open to everyone.
Our purpose is to share our love for the arts and to create a space where communities can meet.
Located in Coventry between Canley and Kenilworth and just 15 minutes from the city centre, we attract over 700k visitors every year, drawing on audiences from across the UK and beyond. Our music centre provides individual and group tuition and support to more than 20 ensembles and over 1000 students each year. We offer a diverse contemporary programme of theatre, dance, music, comedy, exhibitions and independent cinema and an orchestral programme. Our creative learning team and audience development officer develop and deliver participatory and engagement opportunities in the Arts Centre and in community and school settings.
Warwick Arts Centre is at an exciting stage of development. We are realising our ambition to develop stronger relationships with communities across Coventry whilst continuing to serve our wider audience. The Arts Centre has a vital role to play in building on the legacy from Coventry City of Culture 2021. These posts are key to our Music Centre, Creative Learning and Audience Development Strategies, developing connections with new participants, leading on student and community participation and engagement in music and ensuring we achieve a number of bold objectives.
We are looking for an Administrator and Projects Officer to help organise and support the running of the Music Centre and music projects across the Arts Centre.
You need to be organised, passionate about the arts and have experience of arts administration and events planning.
Warwick Arts Centre is committed to Equal Opportunities and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds who are underrepresented in our organisation.
