We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty of Social Sciences as an Administrative Officer for our Curriculum & Quality Assurance (CQA) Team. The CQA Team provides high level guidance and supports all regulatory aspects of the Taught and Research programmes associated with our five schools, Southampton Business School, Southampton Education School, Southampton Law School, the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences and the School of Mathematical Sciences.

This specialist administration team supports the Faculty in the preparation for validation of new and existing undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, postgraduate research programme development, student communications and representation, statutory and regulatory body monitoring, committee servicing and implementation of academic regulations and processes. 

Major elements of the post will be to support the Senior Administrative Officer to deliver an effective and efficient service, applying a detailed knowledge of systems, processes and regulatory frameworks and establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic staff within the Faculty and other colleagues in Professional Services.

You will be an excellent team player with experience and a proven ability to work proactively. You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach in reviewing processes and practices. You will possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will also have experience of processing and analysing complex data sets using multiple systems.
