About the opportunity

The Higher Degree by Research Administration Centre (HDRAC) is looking for two highly motivated and self-driven Administrative Officers to join their high performing team. In this role, you will utilize your strong organizational skills to provide support with a wide range of administrative tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • ensure that high quality and efficient administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to staff and students
  • support the activities of the centre to ensure optimal service
  • provide additional support in the area of scholarship management and operational support as required
  • respond to a range of enquiries via telephone, email and in person from staff and students

About you

  • excellent customer service skills together with well-developed written and verbal communications skills
  • outstanding technical skills, including the ability to enter, manage, maintain and manipulate data with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • well-developed interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • experience in handling enquiries and excellent customer service skills in a strong customer service environment
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.
