About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to work closely with the Head of Department’s Executive Assistant in support of world-leading research and teaching.  You will provide PA support to senior academics and group leaders, and assist in the planning and delivery of departmental and building events.  You will assist the Postgraduate Academic Administrator working on the organisation of postgraduate student admissions and administration of student progress.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player who will work with colleagues to provide a high-quality service to staff and students.  You will be well organised with strong experience in an office environment, work efficiently under pressure and be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.  You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at different levels of seniority.

This full-time permanent position post is funded by the Department and the actual starting salary offered will be based on qualifications and relevant skills acquired.
