Permanent Administration Assistant needed!

Full time (36.5 hours per week)

Hybrid working – This role offers a mixture of home working & working from our Office on Exeter University's Streatham Campus.

The Digital department are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to support the Business Manager and the wider Digital team. We’re on a mission to innovate the Digital capability of Higher Education and need someone to help us achieve our goal!

This busy and varied role would suit someone who has some experience in administrative support and who would enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Carrying out administrative duties to this end (organising meetings, meeting rooms, sending emails and papers, chasing actions etc)
  • Purchasing goods & services
  • Supporting with central communications (content creation, sharing the cool stuff we’re up to via emails or other channels including social media, recording video content etc)  
  • Supporting the maintenance of central web pages, SharePoint and MS Teams sites
  • Support the organisation of induction of new staff joining the service

We’re really looking for…

  • Someone with excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. 
  • Someone reliable, well organised, be able to manage competing demands, always maintain confidentiality. 
  • Excellent IT skills and computer literacy are essential
  • We have a small but mighty team right now and we’re really proud of how the team is shaping up – so we want someone who is really positive and genuinely enjoys working together to solve problems!
