University of Exeter Business School

The University is proud that it has taken only a decade to establish the Business School as one of the UK's leading centres of business education and research, with a significant partnerships portfolio of more than 40 institutions globally. It is rapidly becoming one of the top business schools in the UK, ranked in the top 10 in the UK for all its main subject areas.

Under the leadership of the recently appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, Professor David Allen, the School is focused on further enhancing its reputation as a centre of excellence.

As part of our continuing drive to enhance teaching quality and support to our students, we are seeking suitably qualified professionals to assist our teaching team on an adhoc temporary basis to deliver a wide range of  seminars and tutorials to students.

We are also looking for individuals to assist on an adhoc temporary basis with assessments, assessing work in line with agreed marking schemes, providing quality feedback to students, and submitting results in line with University practices.

If you are a qualified professional or an experienced seminar/tutorial teacher, are interested in casual work, and are able to work/visit the University of Exeter Business School depending on the type of work available, then we would like to hear from you.

We welcome applications in the following subject areas:

-    Macroeconomics
-    Microeconomics
-    Maths/Statistics/Econometrics

You should have at least a Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline and a PhD would be desirable but is not essential. Experience of teaching at a Further Education level or teaching or research at a Higher Education level would be an advantage.

We will provide you with induction training and a competitive pay rate which will vary depending on the type of work undertaken and level of your skills and experience.

Please note that previous applications or applications from current PGR students within the University of Exeter will not be considered as part of this process.
