Job Overview:

UCB’s highly experienced Disability Support team is looking to expand during an exciting period of growth for UCB, including the development of world-class facilities, with the team requiring an Academic Support Worker.

As an Academic Support Worker, you will be providing high-quality in-class support for FE students with a Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD) or disability. In addition, you will provide 1:1 appointments in one of UCB’s Academic Skills Centres.

You will have experience of supporting learners with an SpLD or disability, strong inter-personal and communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Further, you will have excellent record-keeping skills and be able to report on student progress.

While you could support across a range of courses and lesson types, support may be required in particular for learners with an SpLD or disability on our growing portfolio of Engineering/Construction courses.
