The Academic Quality Enhancement Office provides guidance, advice and development of enhancements to support the application of our institutional quality assurance framework. The framework includes Academic Regulations, quality assurance policies and procedures, and processes which together, ensure that academic standards and quality are maintained and enhanced.


As an Academic Quality Enhancement Officer, you will support the development of projects to support the application of processes to ensure Academic Schools meet expectations of academic quality and standards. You will provide definitive university advice and guidance on the use and interpretation of our University’s Academic Regulations and on matters relating to academic standards, academic quality and enhancement of all the University’s higher education provision including degree apprenticeships and collaborative provision.


Working closely with the Director of Academic Quality Enhancement, Head of Academic Quality Enhancement, and Academic Quality Enhancement Officers, as well as with the academic, professional services and senior management teams, you will be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of working in the Higher Education Sector and, of matters relating to academic standards and quality.


The successful candidate for the Fixed term Appointment will be joining Leeds Beckett University at an exciting time following the approval of our Strategic Planning Framework 2021 – 2026.
