Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 29 Oct 2021

College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

The Governance, Quality Assurance and Enhancement team sits within the College Academic and Student Administration Office, and is responsible for the administration and delivery of the University Academic Policy and Quality Framework. The core 2021 Enhancement-led Institutional Review (ELIR) recommendations include explicit reference to improving oversight and monitoring in a range of areas. In CAHSS, we have been working hard to build a strong sense of collective responsibility and cooperation, to streamline policies, processes and procedures for the delivery of learning, teaching, assessment and student support across the College. This has never been more critical than during the pandemic and will continue to be an essential area of work as we move through 2021-22 and beyond.

The successful candidate for the post of Academic Administration Officer will engage in assurance, validation and compliance activities, and be a critical source of support and guidance to a broad range of colleagues across the College and its 13 Schools (including EFI). As a key contributor to College level projects and analysis focusing on the enhancement of the CAHSS student experience for our 26K students (on and off campus), they will have a strong customer focused attitude with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to interpret and apply regulations and policies to complex situations.

Applications will close on Friday, 29th October 2021 at 5pm . Interviews will take place week commencing 8th November.

As part of your application, please provide a cover letter highlighting your relevant skills and experience, a Curriculum Vitae, and two references.
