The Courtauld is a world-leading institution specialising in the teaching, research, conservation and curation of art and its histories with an internationally-renowned gallery at its heart. The Courtauld Gallery cares for one of the finest art collections in the world, famous for its iconic Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces. A specialist institution with a mighty presence on the global stage, we are widely known for our illustrious alumni with an unusually high number who lead major international museums, commercial galleries, auction houses and art fairs drawn from just 9000 graduates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Courtauld as we develop our audience insight-driven approach to support our strategic business goals across the organisation

The post-holder will play a critical part in the organisation’s development of an audience-driven strategy built on insight. Alongside creating the building blocks which will support audience KPIs, delivering customer insight across key audience segments including gallery visitors, members, event and course attendees and alumni, you will also lead the continued implementation, management and development of our CRM and ticketing platform, Tessitura.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and business-focused database and CRM professional, who has an excellent understanding as to how audience, customer and donor data insight can be used to leverage and improve the audience experience, helping to boost organisational revenue and customer life-time value. With experience working in the cultural sector, you will also play a key role in developing the audience insight team and CRM strategy.

Working closely with Tessitura Network and as part of the internal Audience Engagement Steering Group, you will supply leadership and expert knowledge to ensure that the configuration and use of the Tessitura system and CRM future planning meets the needs of all its in-house users as well as supporting coherent and meaningful user journeys for customers.  You will also lead the development of reporting and analytics to support a variety of internal stakeholders needs which will aid both operational and strategic decision making.
