What you’ll be doing: 

  • Acting as initial point of contact for apprentices, providing information, advice and guidance. 
  • Responsible for meeting with apprentices and their employers to review their progress and will have a case load of 40-50 apprentices to manage. 
  • Monitoring progress against apprenticeship standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers. 
  • Maintaining strong relationships in this rapidly developing field.

  • Experienced coaching approaches to help learners develop and apply Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in the workplace.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of one of the following sectors to support apprentices: Quantity Surveyor and/or Construction Management.

The role will sit within the Faculty of Engineering & Science which is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across two campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. The role will with work collaboratively with colleagues within Employability and Apprenticeships Directorate under a matrix structure.
