The School of Law and Criminology is situated in the historic world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College. The School is home to over 1700 students, studying on our undergraduate LLB, LLB Study Abroad, and LLB Senior Status programmes and our postgraduate LLM International and Commercial Law, as well as our suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Criminology. The School places the student experience at the heart of its approach to teaching and pastoral care and consistently scores extremely well in student satisfaction surveys.
We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Law and this vacancy offers an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and committed academics to complement our existing team by making an outstanding contribution to the teaching and research at the School of Law and Criminology in the University of Greenwich.
You will work closely with the dedicated Law team to help to continue the School of Law and Criminology’s progress as a centre of teaching and research excellence. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver innovative teaching in a range of areas, primarily in the foundational subject areas of Equity and Trusts, Obligations (Contract and Tort), Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Public Law, Employment, Family Law and Legal Skills.
You must be able to demonstrate a strong teaching profile and a proven commitment to the student experience, including supporting student’s wellbeing. A PhD (or near completion) or an equivalent legal qualification is essential, as is energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to play a full and active role in the life of the School of Law and Criminology
