The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading institution for teaching and research in art history and the conservation of paintings; it is also home to one of the finest small art museums in the world.

The Courtauld wishes to appoint an Associate Lecturer to teach a term-long Special Option course in the History of Art for the Autumn term of 2020-21. Upon appointment, minor revisions to individual seminars and readings may be made, provided the course title and broad structure remain the same.

They will be responsible for the administration and assessment of their taught courses and to assist in the moderation of marks for courses by other colleagues. Training is provided and required for all Associate Lecturers in the summer preceding the academic year in which they will be teaching.
