As part of our evolving student recruitment strategy, we have an exciting, fixed-term (12 month) opportunity to expand our Student Recruitment team with a new School Liaison Officer role. This role will join the team for 12 months and will play a key role in developing and expanding our relationship with schools and colleges across the country.
The post holder will bring their experience of education (ideally at HE level) and a confident, enthusiastic nature, and combine these to ultimately increase UK student recruitment to the University. Working within an established and experienced team, the post holder will bring new ideas and initiatives to the way we work, always working towards the overall aim of increasing student numbers.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, including good interpersonal and presentation skills. They will be organised and have experience of working within a team in a flexible and collaborative manner. A proven ability to problem-solve will be highly beneficial, with experience of using initiative and flexibility to solve issues as and when they arise without requiring input from others.
The role will require a flexible approach to working, including occasional weekend and evening work as well as travel within the UK.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this position.
