Part time - 0.4 FTE

Working as part of the Reception Team you will provide a front-line reception service to students, staff and visitors of the University, providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient enquiry service, both in person and on the telephone. The team are required to organise and control a postal service for the University in addition to carrying out a number of administrative functions to include the control of fleet cars/mini buses. 

Operating across a number of designated reception points within Wrexham University, service times are between 08:00 – 17:30, Monday – Thursday and 08:00 – 17.00 Friday. 

Applicants should be enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated, and should be capable of dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Previous experience of working within a busy reception and post room environment is essential, together with a good knowledge of IT software packages and administrative processes.

A fluent Welsh speaker is desirable for this position. If you are a non Welsh speaker then it is essential that you are willing to learn and use the Welsh language in order to greet those visiting or contacting the university
