We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to provide proactive, high-level administrative support to the Deputy Principal (Education) and Director of the Institute of Medical & Biomedical Education (IMBE) as they implement an ambitious Education & Students strategic plan for St George’s.  

The Executive Assistant (Education) is at the heart of the education community at St George’s, which spans the Education Strategy & Development Office (headed by the Deputy Principal), the Institute of Medical and Biomedical Education (headed by the IMBE Director) and Education Operations (headed by the Director of Education Operations and Programme Management).  

It is a varied job across four main domains: executive assistant support, information management & communication, project administration and office management, assisted by an Operations Assistant line managed by the EA. 

Key attributes of the successful applicant will include:

·         Successful track record of providing a professional PA service or demonstrable equivalent experience in administration.

·         Well-developed time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

·         Enthusiasm for community-building and fostering good communication networks.

·         Excellent written communication skills, including servicing committees and writing minutes.

·         Good interpersonal communication with a friendly, can-do attitude to people at all levels.

·         Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information.

·         Initiative and an ability to work unsupervised.

·         Accuracy and attention to detail, including when under pressure.
