Description

The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi, is seeking a motivated research scientist to work under the supervision of Prof. Marwa Chafii on the physical layer design of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) for 6G systems.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, and have a minimum of than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. The position requires strong expertise in communication theory, signal processing, and optimization theory. A proven track record of publications in relevant IEEE journals and conferences is required. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, scientific creativity and innovative thinking are essential.

The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment comprising PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.

The terms of employment are very competitive and the position provides a salary higher than internationally competitive rates for research scientist positions, in addition to substantial benefits (generous housing, transportation and travel allowances, educational subsidies for children), together with full health insurance and retirement contributions.
