The Center for Smart Engineering Materials (CSEM), NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), is inviting applications for a fully funded Post-Doctoral Associate position in the areas of materials and devices for sensing applications.

The Post-Doctoral Associate will work under the supervision of Dr. Panče Naumov (Center for Smart Engineering Materials (NYUAD-CSEM) ) on preparation of materials and devices for sensing of organic and inorganic chemical components by using electrochemical, optical or other methods. The candidate will prepare, characterize and assess the performance of devices, specifically aimed at applications in the oil and gas sector. Moreover, the candidate will have access to the well-equipped core research facilities of NYUAD.

Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree in either science (Chemistry, Physics) or Engineering, with prior experience and strong publication record in device fabrication.
