Description

The Division of Arts and humanities at New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications for an open rank, continuing contract academic staff position at the instructor level in the Film and New Media Program. This position focuses on providing academic support to the Sound Stage, Equipment Center, Film Studio, and Post-Production Lab, with some administrative duties. Responsibilities, include academic and technical support to Film and New Media practice classes. The successful applicant will work closely with the Equipment Centre, faculty and students to ensure the successful completion of student work assignments and projects. The scope of the job may require working evenings and/or weekends, particularly prior to openings of project presentations.

Qualifications

We encourage applicants with professional experience in film production and/or post-production to apply. Applicants with a master’s degree in film or media with substantial film practice training are preferred.
