Abu Dhabi University's College of Law (COL) is a regional leader in legal education and offers a Bachelor of Law, a Master of Public Law, and a Master of Private Law, all of which are CAA and WASC-accredited. Our curriculum, primarily in Arabic with selected English courses, reflects our commitment to academic excellence and cultural diversity.

Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) College of Law is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following faculty positions:

• Professor or Associate Professor of Public International Law

Minimum Years of Experience Required/ Nature of Relevant Experience Required

Associate Professor Have a doctoral or equivalent qualification in Public International Law from an  accredited institution. Have demonstrated significant scholarly or creative accomplishments appropriate to his/her discipline. He/she should have had at least five years of full time teaching and research experience as assistant professor. Professor Have a doctoral or equivalent qualification in Public International Law from an  accredited institution, Have achieved all of the qualifications for Associate Professor. Have achieved a record of international distinction in the academic or creative aspects of  his/her field, especially research. Have demonstrated excellent teaching ability and shown continuing active engagement with students in and outside the classroom. Have had at least ten years of full-time teaching and research experience in a university or college.  

Language Skills

• English is a must Arabic is a must

Special Skills and abilities

• Communication/Teaching Skills, Presentation Skills, Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
