Position Description
The Institute of Statistics and Data Science at National Taiwan University invites applications for a faculty position at the open rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with an anticipated start date of February 1, 2027. The appointment may be tenure-track or non-tenure-track, depending on qualifications and mutual agreement.

We seek candidates with expertise in statistics, data science, or related areas, including areas related to machine learning. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the time of appointment and demonstrate strong potential for research, effective teaching, and academic service. Courses may be taught in English or Mandarin; proficiency in Mandarin is not required.

The Institute offers a supportive research environment with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. New faculty members are supported with a lighter teaching load during the initial period. Additional compensation is available through university programs, subject to approval.
