An intern position to complete 300 working hours within a University-funded project in the Department of Psychology is now open. Your duties will primarily be linked to a state-of-the-art project examining the neurophysiological mechanisms of cognitive task performance in adults. The internship will begin in February or March 2024 (as agreed upon) and continue for a period of 3 months.

Your position

  • Support team in recruitment and testing efforts
  • Communicate with research participants by phone, email, and in the laboratory
  • Take part in data entry and data cleaning
  • Some translation tasks (English German)
  • General work within the project

Your profile

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in psychology confirmed by the start of the internship
  • Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in psychology
  • Motivated and interested in psychological research
  • Very good command of German and English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Available to attend test sessions in-person at least once per week on Fridays

  • Experience with cognitive and/or motor assessment
  • Experience with use of EEG
  • Experience with R, SPSS, and/or Matlab
