The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a world-leading institute in global health with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, education and services at local, national and international levels. 900 people from 80 nations work at Swiss TPH focusing on infectious and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health as well as health systems and interventions.
The Department of Epidemiology and Public Health (EPH), within the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, develops and applies epidemiological, statistical and mathematical methods to advance in-novation, validation, and application in the field of public health. Within the Vector Biology Unit of EPH we are looking for a: Project coordinator (100%)

The project:
Swiss TPH, working with Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) will support the Innovative Vector Control Con-sortium (IVCC) to evaluate new tools for vector control. In collaboration with the principal investigator and the members of the Ifakara Health Institute as well as the Swiss TPH project teams, you will support the design, execution, analysis and publication of experiments to evaluate vector control tools. You will also take the lead in developing and budgeting new work packages, delivering reports, super-vising staff and mentoring students within the project.
