The Institute of Science, Technology and Policy  contributes towards increasing the policy relevance of scientific research at ETH Zurich and educates students and future decision-makers at the interface of science, engineering, and policy-making. We seek a Programme Manager for our Continuing Education Programme who also supports the Science-Policy Interface in the Office of Knowledge Transfer and Corporate Relations.


Job description

You will be responsible for

1. Managing the Technology and Public Policy (TPP) Programme

  • coordinating the operations from planning to implementation and quality assurance;
  • organizing the programmes' marketing and administrating its homepage;
  • coordinating the programmes' courses;
  • supporting the lecturers;
  • managing stakeholders (e.g., collaboration with ETH's School for Continuing Education) and advising participants as well as interested persons;
  • handling the programme applications.

2. Supporting the ETH Science-Policy Interface

  • managing the Policy-Fellowships;
  • organizing and hosting events (roundtables, workshops);
  • communication (website, social media).

Your profile
  • You hold a minimum of a Master's degree;
  • You have an interest in and, ideally, experience at the interface of science and policy;
  • You communicate effectively on complex topics;
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English; additional national Swiss languages are a plus;
  • You like to develop and implement your  ideas independently;
  • You are familiar with social media and web content.
