The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for a Professorship in Sustainable Finance (Associate or Full Professor) starting in 2022. Candidates should have an excellent research record in financial economics with a focus on the relationship between sustainability and finance, including on issues pertaining to financial sustainability, diversity, equality and/or stability, and strong teaching skills both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Our Faculty places strong emphasis on outstanding research and scholarship. The University of Zurich (UZH) aims to attract leading international scholars who are willing to contribute to its development and to strengthening its reputation as a place of learning and research.
The successful candidate is expected to actively contribute to the interdisciplinary UZH Centre of Competence "Sustainable Finance". Therefore, the ability and willingness to collaborate at the interface between finance and other disciplines is required. In addition, she or he has proven leadership skills and great experience in promoting young academics. Moreover, the position requires successful collaboration with policy makers and funding agencies. It also involves teaching in the study programs of the Department of Banking and Finance. The language of instruction is English and/or German.
