Postdoc positions in Precision Particle Physics at Low Energies

The group for Precision Physics at Low Energy within the Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics of ETH Zurich invites applications for postdoctoral associate positions to join our efforts.

Project background

We pursue experiments with muons and ultracold neutrons (UCN) making use of the world-leading facilities at the nearby Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) to sensitively test the Standard Model of Particle Physics. In particular, we play leading roles in the search for the electric dipole moment of the neutron with n2EDM, in muonic atom spectroscopy, further muon experiments and in the development of novel UCN and muon beam technologies. We closely collaborate with the PSI Laboratory for Particle Physics . We are also committed to excellent teaching at all levels within the Department of Physics at ETH.
