Postdoc Position in Dynamical Systems, Number Theory and related fields
We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher who will be working in the research group of Prof. Gorodnik
at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zürich and will be supported by SNSF grant
"Quantitative dynamics on homogeneous spaces and arithmetic applications".
 
Your responsibilities
The candidate will work on joint projects with Prof. Gorodnik and his research group as well as on his/her own projects.
This position also involves teaching assignments at the Institute of Mathematics.
Your profile
The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a specialization in either Dynamical Systems,  Number Theory, or other related fields.
 
What we offer
The appointment is for two years (with the possibility of a renewal), starting on September 1,  2023.
The annual salary is based on the Swiss public pay scale.

The position starts  on September 1, 2023.
