Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, education and services at local, national and international levels. 900 people from 80 nations work at Swiss TPH focusing on infectious and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health as well as health systems and interventions.

The Department of Medical Parasitology and Infection Biology (MPI) explores the biology of pathogens that cause diseases of poverty, aiming to develop new diagnostic tools, drugs, and vaccines. We are offering an Internship Opportunity on Molecular Biology of Host-Nematode Interactions (80%-100%).

For an inquisitive scientist willing to deepen their knowledge in molecular biology. The position is based in Allschwil (Switzerland) and the project is laboratory-based.
