Prof. Sereina Riniker's group for Computational Chemistry at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry is interested in the development of methodology for classical molecular dynamics simulations and cheminformatics, and in the application to address challenging biological and chemical questions. 


Job description

The research project will focus on the investigation of the dynamics of protein-protein complexes in collaboration with industry partners, and involves two positions. The preferred starting date for both is early 2023. 


Your profile

Applicants for the postdoctoral position should hold a Ph.D. degree in (computational) chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysics with a strong background in molecular dynamics simulations. Experience with application-oriented projects and good programming skills (Python) are advantageous. 

Applicants for the position as doctoral student should hold a Master degree in computational chemistry, chemistry, or biochemistry. Experience with molecular dynamics simulations and good programming skills (Python) are advantageous.
