The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC) is looking for a qualified Coordinator of Studies with a management role to begin immediately or as agreed upon. This position offers a wide variety of challenges in an international department with 23 professorships and around 600 students.


Job description

You will be responsible for the coordination, supervision and further development of the Master of Science programme in Management, Technology and Economics (MSc ETH MTEC). You will lead a small team, represent the study programme internally and externally, coordinate the admissions process and support teaching and programme evaluations. You will be the contact person for students, professors and lecturers, prospective students, mobility students and alumni. As part of the department staff, you will be in direct contact with the Academic Services of ETH Zurich, the department’s Director of Studies, the professors and the lecturers.


Your profile

You have a university degree in business administration, economics or engineering and have leadership and social skills to draw on in a dynamic environment. Ideally, you have experience working at an internationally oriented university. You are resilient even in hectic situations, independent, take initiative, and are a team player. You master challenges efficiently, responsibly and in a quality-conscious manner. Your communication and negotiation skills enable you to build a network and work constructively with contact persons in a variety of fields. You are an experienced manager, have strong communication skills and a high level of linguistic competence in German and English (both spoken and written).
