We are enforcing our research activities in the Automotive Powertrain Technologies Laboratory.

• Reaction and process engineering for the production of synthetic hydrocarbon-based aviation fuels from hydrogen and CO2 in collaboration with research and industrial partners.
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments for analyzing and understanding the processes involved.
• Implementation of analytical methods for product analysis and process monitoring.
• Development of a simulation models for process optimization and upscaling.
• Detailed assessments for optimizing the process chain as well as the relevant process steps.
• Joint development of novel processes, components, and materials together with team members and project partners.
• Scientific publishing in journals and conferences.

• Master and PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or process engineering (or similar).
• Interest for upscaling laboratory technologies to the demonstrator level.
• Interest for collaboration in interdisciplinary scientific and industrial teams.
• Fluency in English including scientific writing and communication with industry partners.
