The University of Zurich invites applications for an assistant professorship with tenure track in quantitative methods of intervention and evaluation research. The position should be filled by 1 August 2024. After two temporary three-year contracts, the position will become tenured on the condition that the candidate passes the evaluation process.
The professorship is based at the Department of Psychology of the University of Zurich. Candidates must have excellent credentials in developing, validating and applying quantitative methods for longitudinal research (such as mixed/multilevel models, multilevel/dynamic structural equation models, methods for intensive longitudinal data, (latent) growth curve models, generalized estimating equations, missing data handling) in the form of publications in international scientific journals. They are expected to have strong didactic skills as well as teaching, consulting and collaborating experience in a broad spectrum of advanced statistical methods. Practical experience with methodological support for applied research projects with longitudinal aspects is an asset.

Candidates should hold a PhD degree in statistics, psychometrics, psychology or related fields at the time of application and have an excellent record of academic achievements in the relevant field.
Teaching will be in German and partly in English. Non-German speaking candidates are expected to acquire a working knowledge of German within the first three years of their appointment.
