Teaching assistant
The Department of Information Technology has a leading position in research and education. The Department currently has about 300 employees, including 120 teachers and 110 PhD students. Duties
Participation in teaching in any of the courses listed below. Participation in teaching means, for example, participation in labs and tutorials/lessons, grading of assignments, answering students' questions, and supervision of student projects. Requirements
For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level. The applicant must show good study results, especially in the area of the course the applicant will help with, as well as very good knowledge of Swedish (only for courses taught in Swedish) and good English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Additional qualifications
Previous experience from participating in teaching in courses at university level is particularly meritorious. Experience with relevant IT systems (Studium) is desirable as well as good knowledge of Uppsala University's organization.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment varies between 3 and 23 %, depending on what course(s) and period(s) you are working. Starting date 1 January 2023 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala.
