The Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University has 38 faculty staff members, divided into three divisions: Mathematics, Mathematical statistics and Computational Mathematics. The Division of Mathematics carries out research in a wide range of topics in pure mathematics, including algebra, representation theory, analysis, combinatorics, algebraic geometry, logic and topology. In particular the department has a large and active research group in arithmetic geometry, algebraic geometry, representation theory and topology, working in a variety of fields such as the Langlands Program, Shimura varieties, moduli spaces and stable homotopy theory.

Project description
We invite applicants working on tautological rings of Zip period maps.

Main responsibilities
The main responsibility is to carry out research.

Qualification requirements
Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.

Assessment criteria
In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills in the fields mentioned above.

Terms of employment
The position involves full-time employment for a period of six months, with the possibility of extension under special circumstances. Start date 2024-09-01 or as per agreement.
