The Department of Women's and Children's Health conducts research, postgraduate education and training. Duties
The position includes participation in a Bangladesh situated research project. The duties include independent performance of all activities needed for active participation in the project including reporting of research results, such as literature review, statistical analyses and writing.  The project focus on effects of nutrition and toxic exposure on health and nutrition including intergenerational effects. 

Requirements
The applicants should have a PhD preferably in Global Health.  Very good knowledge in statistics is required where proficiency in using the statistical software R is a merit. The project is based in Bangladesh and appropriate social/cultural competence as well as language skills will be required. Excellent skill in scientific English writing is required. 

Assessment criteria
The ranking of eligible applicants will be based on research experience, social/cultural knowledge, language skills as well as personal aptitude.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position, 5 months. Scope of employment 100 %. Starting date 1 September 2023 oras agreed. Placement: Uppsala
