The Department of Psychology is a diverse and creative workplace that conducts education and research in psychology. Every semester, more than 1,000 students are in our various programs from undergraduate to postgraduate level.
Project description
The Applied Developmental Science (ADS) research group consists of several members across different disciplines, departments, and universities. The ADS group is co-led by Associate professors Laura Ferrer-Wreder and Lilianne Eninger. We wish to hire a researcher in connection with recently funded research projects on the social emotional development and mental health of early adolescents and testing the effects of an online intervention for parents of adolescents.
Main responsibilities
This position involves working with study management/implementation as well as conducting and writing up the results of advanced statistical analyses and general scientific writing.
Qualification requirements
Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.
Assessment criteria
In the appointment process special attention will be given to expertise relevant to the research project, evidence of the ability to conduct person oriented analyses, structural equation modelling, Bayesian analysis, experimental/intervention outcome analyses, publication track record.
Applicants should have a competitive research publication track record and substantial experience with scientific writing.
Applicants should have expertise in research areas directly relevant to developmental psychology, intervention/experimental research, and/or economic evaluation of interventions. Of particular importance is the documented experience in conducting advanced statistical analyses.
Qualifications and abilities also include excellent organizational-, communication- and social skills.
Fluent English and Swedish in both speech and writing is required.
Terms of employment
The position involves full-time employment for a maximum of one years, with the possibility of extension. Start date as per agreement.
