Research position in translational hematology with focus on modelling human disease

Center for Hematology and Regenerative Medicine is a translational research environment focusing on clinical and translational research questions with relevance for hematology, immunology, stem cell biology and cellular therapies. We are looking for a junior group leader with focus on disease modelling of human hematological disorders

Your mission

You will lead and develop research aiming to establish functional models for hematopoiesis and human myeloid malignancies based on induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC)

Your profile

You should have a PhD within an area of relevance to the field including molecular or cellular biology or biotechnology. You should have postgraduate research experience within the field and should have published at a high international level during this period.  You should have a documented interest in working with clinical and translational research questions.

Bases of assessment

We stress research expertise, experience and interest of leadership and teamwork when assessing applicants. The ability to take responsibility for specific research platforms and mentoring students will strengthen the application.
