Research Engineer in Social Network Analysis

Job description
We are looking for a research engineer in the area of social network analysis. The position is with the research group of prof. Aristides Gionis (https://www.kth.se/profile/argioni/ ) with the focused goal of developing and testing methods for reducing polarization in social networks via recommendations, filtering, and prioritization of social-media content.

Requirements

• A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence. 

Preferred qualifications

A successful candidate should hold a Degree of Master in Computer Science or related field obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.  You have a solid mathematical background and familiarity with social-network analysis techniques. Candidate should also have hands-on ability to process large-scale data and experiment with state-of-the-art methods of data analysis and machine learning.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
