Duties
The project will involve methodological pharmacometrics research aiming to create automated model building.

Requirements
The applicant must have a Master degree in pharmaceutical, medical, technical natural science or a related field. Applicants must have documented experience of project work in pharmacometric modelling using NONMEM.

We attach great importance to personal suitability as well as motivation. The applicant must be able to express him/herself well, both orally and in writing, in English. Applicants must be able to work independently and in a group.

Additional qualifications
Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation based on clinical study data in oncology, preferably with a focus on treating children. Interest in, and skill in, scientific writing is highly desirable.

The application should include (i) a motivation letter with a brief description of the candidate and research interests as well as experiences in relation to the requirements and qualifications listed above, and the topics pharmacometrics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and oncology (ii) the candidate’s CV, (iii) copies of diplomas and certificates, (iv) at least two recommendation letters or references and (v) as well as other relevant documents that the applicant wish to refer to, such as proficiency in English.

The employment is a temporary position, 6 months. Scope of employment 100%. Starting date 1 April 2023 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala
