At the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences at Stockholm University, research and education is conducted in an international environment. The subject areas are Ecology and Evolution, Ecotoxicology, Marine Biology, Plant Physiology and Plant Systematics. Some of the research has direct environmental and societal relevance and the approach is often broad and interdisciplinary. About 140 people are working at the Department, of which ca. 35 are teachers and researchers and ca. 40 are PhD students. The rest consist of technical-administrative personnel. 

Main responsibilities
Main resposibilities include molecular genetic lab work (DNA-extraction, PCR, preparation for sequencing), ordering of chemicals and laboratory material.

Qualification requirements
We are looking for someone with thorough experience in molecular genetic lab work (DNA-extractions, PCR) and who is careful and well organized. You should have an education corresponding to a PhD in Biology.

Terms of employment
This is a full-time (100 %) employment for two months. Salaries at Stockholm University are determined individually; therefore, please indicate your requested salary. Starting date can be discussed.
